Cellular division defines a human contour; however we are better defined by our greatness as opposed to the mere mechanics of the corps we inhibit.

throwing it off the cliff, what ever it may be, usually means you don’t want or need it

LIFE,he kicked, he did; the ball, passing it on as though to pass on opportunity. There is nothing better than living in the now, for living for the future only fails to please the present.

DRAWING APPARATUS by Robert Howsare

Spirograph-like drawing machine constructed with two turntables:

The revolution of the records create drawings that serve as a markers of temporality.  The drawings also speak to the idea of the editionable print through their ability to be replicated using domestic materials.

It’s truely impressive when you see it in action (and wonder why it hasn’t been done before), as you can see in the video embed below:

You can see more of Robert’s work here

brain-food:

A Monster.com direct mail ad campaign.

Brief: “To remind people of the problem of being stuck in the wrong job and to reinforce Monster.com as the best platform for finding the right job.”

Solution: “In a pack of tiny toy soldiers, a ballet dancer is found taking up the role of a soldier. The ballet dancer is completely out of place. This reminds everyone not to get stuck in the wrong job and that Monster.com is the best platform for finding the right job.” (via ibelieveinadv)

This is a clever ad campaign, i’ve gotta admit that. But now I want somebody to start making and selling Ballet Soliders so I can buy them all.
